Transforming the digital transformation status throughout the People's Public Security force

Recognizing and praising the achievements and results of the Public Security of units and localities in the process of implementing Project 06, Resolution 57 of the Politburo and digital transformation in the People's Public Security force, Minister Luong Tam Quang proposed: Regarding the direction and tasks of digital transformation of the Public Security sector in the period of 2025 - 2030, continue to affirm the pioneering role of the Public Security force in implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congress, Resolution 57 of the Politburo with specific products, creating a clear mark, contributing to promoting the development of the digital economy, data economy and building an administration serving the people, professional, modern, clean, strong, public, transparent and effective.

Regarding this content, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized the key tasks, including: Promoting the strengths of the National Data Center; ensuring absolute security, safety, quality, efficiency, proactively advising on legal improvements and promoting solutions to create and develop the data economy .

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested to continue to promote the advisory role in implementing Project 06, focusing on maximizing administrative procedure reform based on database, strongly promoting the implementation of online public services throughout the process, and promptly researching and proposing specific solutions to minimize the localization of administrative procedures.

Regarding the task of absolutely ensuring network security, data security, and information security in digital transformation of the political system and in the Public Security sector, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the expansion of the National Cyber Security Center, ensuring network security monitoring of all national databases, specialized databases, information systems, and shared systems of the entire political system....

Emphasizing the need to complete digital transformation within the Public Security sector, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that there must be a unified understanding that creating a strong change in digital transformation of the Public Security sector is one of the fundamental solutions to effectively carry out the task of building a modern, transparent, effective, friendly, humane, and people-serving security and order management and administration method; making a breakthrough in the digital transformation strategy, comprehensively transforming the method of operation, closely combining modern traditions with synchronous, modern, and highly secure infrastructure as set forth by the 8th Central Public Security Party Congress.

At the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long said that in the journey of national digital transformation in general and digital transformation in the People's Public Security force in particular, many very important results have been achieved. As the leading unit in implementing, leading and inspiring national digital transformation, the People's Public Security force has determinedly and resolutely implemented the policies and directions of the General Secretary, the Politburo and the Government on digital transformation, focusing on Resolution 57 of the Politburo and Resolution 71 of the Government.

Over the past 3 years, the People's Public Security force has promoted its core role in national digital transformation, achieving many important and outstanding achievements such as: It has been playing a leading role in national digital transformation, making an important contribution to building a digital government, digital society, digital citizens, and implementing Project 06, which has been identified by the Party and State as a breakthrough in national digital transformation.

The national population database was built and officially put into operation from July 1, 2021 from original data providing online public services for the entire People's Public Security sector, a bright spot clearly demonstrating the determination to reform administrative procedures, taking people as the center of service. Changing the state of digital transformation in the entire People's Public Security force, applying professional software and document management software. In the period of 2025-2030, digital transformation in the People's Public Security force has many important goals such as data, infrastructure, building digital units, digital commanders, digital officers, digital transformation in the entire People's Public Security force.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the shortcomings and limitations, and at the same time discussed solutions to effectively implement digital transformation in the People's Public Security in the period of 2025-2030.
