Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk - stock code: VNM) decided to appoint Ms. Huynh Thi Phuong Lan as Chief Accountant from July 1. Before becoming Chief Accountant, Ms. Lan was Head of the Accounting Department of Operational Results and Sales. Previously, this position was held by Mr. Le Thanh Liem from 2005 to present, nearly 20 years. According to the company's introduction in the 2023 annual report, Mr. Liem was born in 1973, has a Master's degree in Finance and International Trade - Leeds Metropolitan University (UK) (2012), Bachelor's degree in Economics - Ho Chi Minh City University of Finance and Accounting (1994).

Mr. Liem started working at Vinamilk in 1994. From 1994 to 2003, he held various positions in the Finance - Accounting Department. From 2003 to 2015, he held many positions in the Vinamilk Accounting Department, including Chief Accountant since 2015. At Vinamilk, Mr. Liem is also a member of the Board of Directors, a member of the Strategy Committee, and the Executive Director of Finance. In 2023, Vinamilk achieved revenue of VND 60,479 billion and profit after tax of VND 9,019 billion. While revenue was not much different from the previous year, profit increased by 5%. In the first quarter of this year, profit after tax reached VND 2,207 billion, up 16% over the previous year, due to the company changing the proportion and structure of product groups sold, while controlling input costs well.
