Tighten procedures and transparency in testing
Through the driving tests and document checks, Lam Dong Provincial Police discovered many limitations in driving training activities at the centers. Some facilities organized practical training to cope with the situation, legalizing documents so that students were eligible to take the test even though they did not meet the requirements. In many cases, the duration of practical training did not match the documents and reality, causing the quality of training and testing to not be guaranteed, and the test results were not high.

Faced with the above situation, the Traffic Police Department has advised the Provincial Police Department to coordinate with the Department of Construction and the Department of Education and Training to rectify driver training and testing.
According to the new process, before each exam, the centers must submit complete documents and decisions to open classes for the Traffic Police Department to review. Only students who have completed the program and have valid documents will be given registration numbers. This process helps prevent the situation of "not studying enough, still taking the exam", while ensuring fairness and transparency in each exam period.

There are currently 7 driving test centers in the province. On average, each month, the province has about 3,000 - 5,000 students participating in driving tests and licensing.
Before each test, the Traffic Police force conducts a comprehensive inspection of the facilities, from the yard, electronic scoring system, sensors, simulation equipment to the theory test software. Violations such as marking landmarks and placing suggestive objects in the driving test are strictly handled. Thanks to that, the test work is increasingly orderly and in accordance with regulations, creating trust for the people.
Along with that, the Traffic Police Department has stepped up propaganda, coordinated with training centers to disseminate new regulations, and publicized the exam schedule on the electronic information portal, contributing to ensuring publicity, transparency, and improving the quality of the driving team.

Building a culture of safe traffic
Not only focusing on tightening technical procedures, the Traffic Police force also coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Construction to strengthen the rectification of driver training. In particular, the focus is on improving the quality of the team of examiners and teachers.
Those who directly instruct students must have solid expertise, standard conduct, and proper pedagogical attitude, contributing to forming awareness of law compliance and cultural behavior when participating in traffic.

“Currently, the Traffic Police Department is building a process for driver training and testing to ensure the following principles: real training, real learning, and real testing. The output quality of each student is not only vehicle control skills, but also awareness, ethics, and responsibility when participating in traffic.”
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huynh Quoc Trung, Captain of the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination Team, Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police,
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huynh Quoc Trung, the driver training process needs to focus on four core elements: knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle control skills, ability to handle situations and driver ethics. This is an important foundation for building a safe and civilized traffic environment.
In reality, many serious accidents are caused by subjective errors, lack of skills or poor awareness of the driver. Most of the victims of traffic accidents are people of working age, so the consequences for themselves, their families and society are very serious. Or conflicts and lack of restraint after minor collisions on the road, showing that the ethics of drivers and traffic culture of a part of the population are still limited.
Therefore, Lam Dong Provincial Police tightened management from training to testing not only as a technical requirement but also as a fundamental solution to improve the "input" quality of traffic participants, contributing to reducing violations and accidents in the area.

The Lam Dong Provincial Police Department's strict control of the driver training and testing process demonstrates a high sense of responsibility for the safety of the people. This is not only a professional task but also a practical action contributing to the goal of reducing traffic accidents, ensuring social order and safety, and building a civilized traffic culture in the province.
