According to Lang Son Provincial Police, from April 2024 to present, the subjects have expanded their operations to involve more than 9,000 people, including over 7,000 Vietnamese and nearly 2,000 Malaysians and Taiwanese (China) participating in multi-level investment, with the total transaction amount on the bank account system reaching thousands of billions of VND.
Lang Son Provincial Police and the Ministry of Public Security's professional departments have organized an emergency search and summoned 22 related subjects, seizing many documents and evidence related to multi-level marketing business activities.

Based on the initial investigation results, the Investigation Security Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police has issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain 12 accused for violating regulations on multi-level marketing, including: Ngo Huu Thap, born in 1974, residing in Lang Son province; Lang Thi Thuy Dung, born in 1980, residing in Dong Nai province; Luu Quoc Ngoc, born in 1983; Tran Chan Quyen, born in 1988; Dam Vi Thinh, born in 1988; Tu Boi Dieu, born in 1993; Dam Dieu Phat, born in 1989, all residing in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City; Kim Vinh Hao, born in 1985, residing in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City; Dong Thi Minh Thang, born in 1982, residing in Pho Yen city, Thai Nguyen province; Nguyen Dang Bac, born in 1975, residing in Luong Tai district, Bac Ninh province; Pham Tuan Phong born in 1984, residing in Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City; Tong Thi Hong Tham born in 1982, residing in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

Seized evidence: 1 Mercedes car, 6 computers, 14 mobile phones, 2 iPads, 85 cartons containing nearly 15,000 medicine boxes, nearly 2,000 bottles of Niu Zhang Chi mushrooms of unknown origin, various labels, product processing machinery and related papers and documents.

Lang Son Provincial Police determined that this is a group of subjects operating in a multi-level criminal scheme on an especially large scale, involving many localities, operating across countries and borders; the main subjects in the network are foreigners.
Lang Son Provincial Police are focusing on fighting and exploiting the subjects to consolidate evidence; at the same time, investigating and clarifying the criminal acts of other related subjects to strictly handle them in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Lang Son Provincial Police also requested that individuals and related victims proactively contact the Investigation Security Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police to report and provide information and documents to the authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.
