Binh Phuoc Provincial Police is in the top 10 units with high administrative reform index nationwide.

Colonel Bui Xuan Thang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Department spoke at the conference.

In the past half term, the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Police Congress was assessed as basically ensuring progress and targets. Security on the border and inland was maintained. The fight against crime was deployed synchronously and resolutely, criminal offenses decreased by 5.8% compared to the same period and decreased by 2.26% compared to the previous period. The overall rate of fighting and solving cases reached 91.2%, of which very serious and especially serious cases reached 99.24%, preventing the formation of complex crime and social evils.

With the synchronous and drastic implementation of many solutions in implementing the National Population Database project and the project of producing, issuing and managing citizen identification cards associated with providing online public services and administrative reform, for 3 consecutive years, the Provincial Police achieved excellent results, being in the top 10 provincial police units with high administrative reform index in the country.

In addition, the work of party building and force building has seen many positive changes, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party organizations and bases and the role of party committees, branches and party chapters have continued to be strengthened. From 2020 to 2022, the Provincial Public Security Party Committee has always been assessed and classified by the Provincial Party Committee as having excellently fulfilled its tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Police Party Committee in the past half term. In order to improve the capacity and fighting strength of the Provincial Police Party Committee and meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Provincial Police continue to develop solutions and key tasks to effectively implement the set targets and resolutions. Along with focusing on building a clean and strong Party and force, the Provincial Police should proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to strengthen coordination with specialized agencies in mobilizing and promoting the strength of the political system and the entire population in the fight against crime and ensuring social order and safety. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for the province to implement policies and guidelines to serve socio-economic development in the coming time.
