Nine outstanding scientists have been announced as recipients of the Khue Van Cac Award in 2024.

The first Khue Van Cac Award in 2024 honors young Vietnamese scientists under the age of 35 who have achieved outstanding results in the field of social sciences.

The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has just announced the 9 outstanding scientists who will receive the first Khue Van Cac Award in 2024. These are the most excellent young scientists among the 55 applications submitted to the organizing committee.

The first Khue Van Cac Award in 2024 honors young Vietnamese scientists under the age of 35 who are studying, researching, and working in Vietnam or abroad and have achieved outstanding results in the social sciences and humanities in six disciplines/interdisciplinary fields: Law, Education, Economics, Culture - Arts, Philosophy - Political Science - Sociology, History - Archaeology - Ethnology - Anthropology.

This is the first time the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union has organized an award specifically for young Vietnamese scientists in the field of social sciences and humanities. The award aims to concretize the Party and State's policy on developing high-quality human resources and implement the "Project to Discover, Nurture, and Promote Young Vietnamese Talents in the period 2022-2030" approved by the Prime Minister, while also affirming the special role and importance of social sciences and humanities for the development of the country.

The award also aims to motivate, inspire, and promote the emulation movement in learning, scientific research, and the application of achievements in social sciences and humanities, contributing to national development; mobilizing and utilizing all social resources for the work of discovering, nurturing, and developing young talents, and developing high-quality human resources in the field of social sciences and humanities.

Each award winner receives the "Creative Youth" badge from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Khue Van Cac trophy, a certificate of award, and a cash prize.
