At the conference, the units handed over and received all the contents of the work, including defense and military advice to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, building defense zones, force organization and staffing, logistics and technology, defense diplomacy, military rear policy and many other contents. The handover was carried out seriously and with high consensus, reflecting the close coordination and strong political determination of both localities.
According to the Reorganization Decision, the new Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command consists of 4 Defense Area Command Boards and is strengthened with key leaders including: Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tam - Commander; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong - Political Commissar; Colonel Tran Dinh Hung - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff; Colonel Nguyen Minh Tan - Deputy Political Commissar.
The Deputy Commanders and Deputy Political Commissars include: Colonel Ha Thanh Tuan, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dat, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Huan, Colonel Pham Van Quoc and Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Le Xuan The - Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 emphasized that the merger of Long An Provincial Military Command and Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command is of strategic significance in creating a solid, interconnected defense posture, contributing to realizing the policy of "Building a comprehensively strong provincial and municipal defense area".
The Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 requested the new Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command to soon stabilize its organization, staffing, and complete its staff, proactively and effectively advise local Party committees and authorities on national defense and military affairs; at the same time, continue to improve the quality of defense diplomacy, promote people-to-people diplomacy, and strengthen trust and consensus among the local people.
Continuing the activities after the organizational restructuring, on the morning of June 23, the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command held a conference to announce the decision to dissolve 24 Military Commands at district, town and city levels in the old Tay Ninh province and Long An province. This is a major adjustment to the local military organization model, in line with the new model after the merger, to ensure centralized and unified command from the province to the grassroots level.
Assigning tasks at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong, Political Commissar of Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command, requested that immediately after the dissolution, the Military Commands of districts, towns and cities organize the full handover of facilities. At the same time, the staff always clearly defined their duties and responsibilities, always upheld the spirit of combat readiness, and not to be passive and surprised in any situation.
In the spirit of solidarity, immediately after the new local military organization model comes into operation, agencies and units need to continue to promote responsibility and enthusiasm in building a strong unit that is "comprehensively strong, exemplary, and typical".

Continuing to carry out the tasks of organizing forces, on the morning of June 25, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee organized the awarding of decisions on military rank promotion, salary increase, retirement and demobilization for cadres according to Decree 178 of the Government.
At the conference, the Standing Committee announced and awarded decisions to promote military ranks and raise salaries for 12 comrades; decide to retire 72 comrades; and demobilize 4 comrades.

With the above series of events, the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command entered a new stage of development: streamlined in organization, solid in ideology, modern in operation methods, and determined to excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing to maintaining the national defense and security posture in the southwestern border area of the Fatherland in the new situation.
