In recent days, high tides combined with heavy rains have caused some sections of the dike to break and localized flooding. In light of the above situation, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Thanh Commune, Le Phuoc Ven, and relevant departments and agencies are regularly present at the dike sections that have overflowed, in vulnerable dike areas, and at risk of breaking, to directly direct timely remedial measures and protect people's production.

Tan Thanh commune currently has 74 dyke boxes with a total area of about 8,169 hectares. Of these, there are 64 closed dyke boxes with about 6,859 hectares and 10 unclosed boxes with 1,310 hectares.
In the 2025-2026 Winter-Spring crop, the commune sowed 4,236 hectares. However, local flooding affected some areas, including rice and fruit trees. In this situation, local authorities and people quickly mobilized machinery and police and military forces to actively reinforce and overcome the flooding incident to protect the affected rice areas.
Previously, Chairman of the People's Committee of Le Phuoc Ven commune also directly inspected the agricultural production situation to grasp and propose solutions to overcome difficulties as the flood season approaches.

Faced with the complicated situation of floods and rains, the Commune Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue proactively inspected, regularly monitored, and reviewed areas at risk of flooding and dike overflow to promptly deploy protective measures; effectively implementing the "4 on-site" motto.
At the same time, the Commune People's Committee established a Zalo group including members of the Commune's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue, Party Secretaries, and hamlet heads, to promptly report to the commune leaders for timely handling when dike incidents occur./.
