On the local side, there were former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam - France Friendship Association of the province Nguyen Thanh Nguyen; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations Bui Duc Tam; Principal of Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted Dam Van Tuyen along with the Board of Directors, teachers and 315 grade 12 students of the school.
Speaking at the meeting, Principal of Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted, Dam Van Tuyen, shared the school's need for cooperation, communication, and information exchange related to educational programs, studying abroad, etc., as well as other educational organizations to help students have more information, access opportunities, orientation for studying abroad, finding scholarships, etc. The school hopes that the consulting work will be in-depth and detailed to provide more practical support for students who want to study abroad.
Representative of the French Institute Andrea Taglioni presented and discussed contents about the education system, training sectors, levels of education, degrees, study abroad process, procedures, costs, life, jobs, etc.
Students also had the opportunity to interact and participate in games by answering questions related to France, education, scholarships, etc. with meaningful gifts, encouraging their spirit, creating a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, enhancing understanding and the friendly relationship between Vietnam and France. In addition, students had the opportunity to practice foreign languages with native speakers, thereby increasing awareness and creating practical motivation for foreign language teaching and learning activities at school.
Previously, the French Institute came to exchange and introduce activities at Tay Ninh High School and Hoang Le Kha High School for the Gifted, Tay Ninh province, with the participation of 90 students.
The Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and the Provincial Vietnam-France Friendship Association also exchanged people with the organization Les Enfants Du Dragon (LEDD, France), cooperating to sponsor the project "Building a kitchen" at Thuan Thanh Primary School, My Loc commune, with a total value of 630 million VND.
The activities aim to strengthen propaganda and promote the image, culture and people of Vietnam and France, contributing to promoting friendly, cultural and economic cooperation between the two countries./.
