Tractor trailer fire on Cam Lo - Van Ninh highway

QTO - On the morning of December 8, information from the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH), Quang Tri Provincial Police said that in the early morning of the same day, the unit mobilized forces and vehicles to handle the fire of a tractor trailer on the Cam Lo - Van Ninh expressway, through Con Tien commune, Quang Tri province.

Previously, at around 2:00 a.m. on December 8, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Provincial Police received a report of a fire involving a car with license plate 75H-045.76 pulling a trailer with license plate 75RM-00361 at Km 720 + 500, Cam Lo - Van Ninh Expressway in Con Tien commune, Quang Tri province. The burned car was traveling in the North - South direction, driven by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Long, born in 1998, residing in Huong Tra commune, Hue city, carrying 30 tons of energy tablets.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 dispatched 2 fire trucks and 14 officers and soldiers to join the fire fighting. By 3:30 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The fire did not cause any human casualties, and property damage is being assessed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
