The topic is part of a series of life skills and values education activities that Vietnam - Japan College regularly deploys, aiming to help students better understand ethics, professional culture and personal responsibility - the factors that determine success in the modern working environment.
Principal of Vietnam – Japan Secondary School Tran Trong Nhan emphasized: “Vocational education not only teaches knowledge and skills but also shapes personality. The connection between school – business – family is the foundation for students to develop comprehensively”.

With a friendly, open and simple style, Chairman of Dongtam Group Vo Quoc Thang brings practical and profound lessons from the journey of more than 56 years of developing the Dong Tam brand. He shared: “Success comes not only from knowledge, but also from attitude, discipline and sense of responsibility. A person with good skills may not be successful, but a person with ethics and professional culture will certainly be trusted and developed”. That is the philosophy that has helped Dongtam Group develop sustainably based on human values and corporate culture.
The atmosphere of the conversation was open, helping students understand better that success does not only come from vocational skills, but also lies in culture and professional ethics. Parents also expressed their agreement with the practical training model that the school is applying.
According to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs), the rate of students having jobs after graduation in 2024 is over 85%, but about 70% of businesses believe that young workers still lack soft skills and professional ethics. Based on that reality, the Vietnam - Japan College proactively included in the program topics on skills, behavioral culture, and experiential activities at Long An International Port, construction material factories and industrial parks of Dongtam Group as well as many businesses in the province.

Established in 2010 from the cooperation between Dongtam Group and Aso Juku Education Group (Japan) and other Japanese investors, Vietnam - Japan College aims to train high-quality human resources to meet social needs. Currently, 100% of graduates from the school have jobs suitable to their majors, contributing to providing excellent human resources with outstanding professional skills to the market.
“Culture and professional ethics not only create the personality of the workers, but are also the foundation of all sustainable success” is the message that is strongly spread at Dongtam Group in general and Vietnam - Japan College in particular./.
