In the early morning of June 13 (Iranian time), Israel attacked several locations in the capital Tehran and other provinces of Iran. So far, there have been no reports of any damage to the Vietnamese community in Iran.

In the face of escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Vietnamese citizens not travel to Israel and Iran unless absolutely necessary.

During the current period, Vietnamese citizens living, studying and working in Israel and Iran need to comply with regulations and instructions on security and safety measures of local authorities; regularly keep in touch and closely monitor warning information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran; and prepare plans to safely evacuate people and property to a third country or to Vietnam.

In case of emergency assistance, Vietnamese citizens are requested to contact the citizen protection hotlines of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassies in Israel and Iran:

Embassy of Vietnam in Israel: +972.555.025616 and +972.527274248

Embassy of Vietnam in Iran: +989339658252 and +98912057570

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Citizen Protection Hotline: +84 981848484
