The women's committees at grassroots trade unions in Ha Tinh province organized many vibrant and meaningful activities to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20th.
Following the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Hong Linh Town Labor Union and Hong Ha General Hospital, the grassroots trade unions of Nam Hong Primary School and Dau Lieu Primary & Secondary School organized a periodic health check-up program for female cadres, teachers, and staff of the schools.
Female employees from various units received general health check-ups from doctors; specialist examinations in ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dentistry, and ultrasound; and advice on nutrition, rest, and treatment.
To celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20th, the Trade Union of Haivina Hong Linh Co., Ltd. organized a singing competition for its employees and workers. The program attracted enthusiastic participation and support from workers in all departments. This was an opportunity for union members to express their passion for singing and to strengthen interaction and connection.
The grassroots trade union of Ha Tinh Rehabilitation Hospital ( thuộc the Health Sector Trade Union) created a lively atmosphere leading up to the holiday with a cooking competition. The competition featured 10 teams from the hospital's trade union branches.
The competition is not only an opportunity for women to interact and showcase their culinary skills, but also contributes to honoring the role of women in preserving traditional cultural values and strengthening family bonds through family meals.
The Women's Committee of the Huong Son District Labor Union practically celebrated October 20th with an activity of providing financial support to sponsor children of union members who are in particularly difficult circumstances. Currently, the unit is sponsoring 5 children with support ranging from 300,000 to 500,000 VND per child per month.
The grassroots trade union of Thach Kim commune (under the Loc Ha District Labor Union) donated 200 servings of porridge and 5 gift packages to patients receiving treatment at the District General Hospital.

The Ky Anh District Labor Union, in coordination with the Provincial Women's Union, organized a thematic discussion program titled "Building the Vietnamese Woman of the New Era, Preserving and Nurturing Vietnamese Family Values." The discussion attracted the participation of numerous officials in charge of women's affairs from various units.
