On March 26, 2023, the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Ha Tinh province successfully organized the Congress of Catholics for the construction and protection of the Fatherland for the 2023-2028 term. The Congress clarified and affirmed the important role and contribution of the Catholic community of Ha Tinh in the construction and development of the province. With the motto "Company - sharing - service", the Congress determined to continue to arouse the sense of responsibility of the Catholic community, contributing to building the great national unity bloc.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee Nguyen Dang Dai reported on a number of key activities; approved the decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee on approving the results of the congress.
The Congress consulted and elected 41 members of the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Ha Tinh province for the 8th term 2023 - 2028.
At the meeting, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee reported on the committee's key activities since the congress and some key tasks in the coming time. Accordingly, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee will organize a delegation to attend the 8th National Congress of Vietnamese Catholics for the 2023-2028 term.
Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee Le Van Dung hopes to continue receiving attention and support from the Party Committee, government, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations for the activities of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee in the coming time.
The Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee also plans to organize programs such as: meeting and awarding the "Accompanying the nation" medal in 2023 to individuals with outstanding contributions to building the great national unity bloc and the activities of Catholic solidarity committees at all levels; giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances on holidays and Tet... At the same time, continue to mobilize the Catholic community to actively respond to the movements "Respect God, love the country", "Good life, good religion", campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and authorities at all levels.

On this occasion, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee also approved Decision No. 145/QD-UB-BTT of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee on recognizing the results of the congress and approving the positions of the Standing Committee of the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Ha Tinh province for the 2023-2028 term.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Ha Tinh province, term VIII, 2023 - 2028, consists of 7 members, with Mr. Le Van Dung as Chairman; Mr. Nguyen Van Luan and Mr. Nguyen Dang Dai as Vice Chairmen.
Speaking to congratulate the Standing Committee of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee for the new term, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan affirmed that the Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province always accompanies religious work in general and the activities of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee in particular.
