VnFace technology applied at the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union

At the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, VNPT was selected as the unit to provide all telecommunications infrastructure, digital solutions, and digital services to serve the congress.

VNPT provided data transmission lines and Wi-Fi networks to ensure communication during the congress.

This morning, December 1st, the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term opened at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ) with over 1,100 delegates representing more than 11 million trade union members nationwide.

A new feature in the organization of this congress is the strong application of digital technology in the organization and operation, helping to reduce time and costs for printing documents, and improving the quality of discussions as well as interaction with delegates.

VNPT has equipped the following specific items: direct domestic and international internet channels at 300 Mbps, backup transmission channels; Wi-Fi system for the press conference room; Domain Name; survey and initialization, service setup; personnel for operation and user support…

VNPT also provides solutions, including: facial recognition attendance via QR Code using VNPT's VnFace facial recognition technology. The VnFace service utilizes Deep Learning on big data and AI technologies for high accuracy, preventing forgery and fraud, and avoiding the use of photos or videos for attendance tracking. It also incorporates a range of other advanced technologies such as Similarity Search, automatic speech recognition, Text-to-Speech, and Edge Computing, enabling data processing to increase speed and minimize costs, as well as SHA security encryption to ensure data safety.

VNPT's VnFace facial recognition technology was applied at the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

VNPT also supported delegates in using the "13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union" software, which consists of two components: a mobile application and a portal for users, and a system administration page for the organizing committee. This software helps monitor and control the progress of the congress, saves time and costs for printing documents and participating personnel, ensures transparency in voting and election results, and supports compilation, reporting, and statistical work.

During the congress, VNPT also provided 1,200 YoLo 1GB/day data SIM cards to all delegates attending to experience the latest features.

In addition to the services provided at this congress, VNPT has been and continues to be a provider of several telecommunications and IT services for the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, such as: software for managing union members with 111,176 grassroots trade unions, managing nearly 5.2 million personal information records, as well as providing video conferencing services and data transmission channels, and high-speed internet channels for trade union activities.
