Although the number of dengue fever cases tends to decrease, the health sector believes the risk of an outbreak is still high during the changing seasons.
Along with closely monitoring the epidemic situation, CDC Da Nang deployed the first spraying of chemicals to kill mosquitoes at new outbreak areas, and the second spraying according to plan; organized working groups to monitor and support activities to prevent and control dengue fever in localities.
At the same time, increase communication to people about measures to kill mosquitoes - kill larvae - prevent mosquito bites, proactively clean the environment, remove objects containing stagnant water and go to medical facilities when there are suspicious signs.
Many localities in the city launched a general environmental sanitation campaign to destroy mosquito larvae to prevent dengue fever, mobilizing the participation of authorities, organizations and people.

In particular, Nha Trang Pasteur Institute coordinated with Da Nang CDC and Dai Loc Regional Medical Center to monitor and support the prevention and control of Dengue fever.
The working group assessed the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures in the first 9 months of the year, surveyed 100 households to investigate mosquito larvae, monitor Aedes mosquito populations, and collect mosquito samples for testing to determine the presence of the Dengue virus.
This activity aims to provide field data for early warning, risk assessment and propose effective disease control solutions in the last months of the year - a time when there is a high risk of dengue fever outbreaks.
