Da Nang assigns Mr. Tran Phuoc Son to be in charge of the City People's Council.

On the afternoon of February 5th, the Party Committee of the Da Nang City People's Council issued a notice regarding the assignment of responsibilities for the Party Committee of the City People's Council.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee has unanimously agreed to assign Mr. Tran Phuoc Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, and Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Council, to be in charge of the Party Group of the City People's Council until the position of Secretary of the Party Group is filled.

At the same time, Mr. Tran Phuoc Son was also unanimously assigned to take charge of the Da Nang City People's Council until the position of Chairman of the City People's Council is filled.

Mr. Tran Phuoc Son (52 years old, from Duy Chau commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province) holds a Master's degree in Economics and graduated from university with a major in Economic Management.

Mr. Son previously held positions such as Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Deputy Chief of the City People's Committee Office, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee.

Also on the morning of the same day, at the 16th session (special session) of the Da Nang City People's Council, 10th term, 2021-2026, the Da Nang City People's Council dismissed Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet from the position of Chairman of the City People's Council and terminated his membership in the City People's Council.

Previously, on January 24th, Mr. Triet was transferred and appointed by the Politburo to the position of Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.
