On the morning of June 7th, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including delegates Mai Xuan Liem, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Thi Huong, Provincial Party Committee Member and Secretary of the Quan Hoa District Party Committee; and Cam Ba Chai, Deputy Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, met with voters in Quan Hoa district before the 20th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Delegate Ha Thi Huong reported on the socio -economic development situation of the province in the first five months of the year, solutions for implementing tasks in the remaining months of 2024, and the content of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.
At the meeting, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council informed the voters about the expected content and program of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported on the results of resolving opinions and recommendations from voters and the people submitted to the sessions of the 18th Provincial People's Council; and presented a summary report on the socio-economic situation of the province in the first five months of the year, and the tasks and solutions for implementation in the remaining months of 2024.

In an open and frank atmosphere, voters in Quan Hoa district expressed their enthusiasm for the province's socio-economic development achievements, while also making suggestions on several issues of widespread public concern, including investment in the road network; policies supporting housing land for households affected by natural disasters and floods; and policies supporting infrastructure development for communes planning to achieve new rural development goals.

Specifically, voters in Hien Kiet commune requested that the State consider and decide on land and boundary issues for Suoi Ton village. Voters in Phu Son commune requested that the State invest in building a permanent bridge across the Ma River to replace the dilapidated suspension bridge. Voters in Nam Dong commune requested that the residential area in the flash flood zone be promptly relocated and that all relocation costs be fully compensated to households in Lo village so that people can stabilize their lives; and that a permanent bridge be built between Bau village and Not village.

Voters in Thien Phu commune petitioned the province to prioritize investment in socio-economic development projects so that the commune can achieve the new rural development goals by 2024; and to invest in housing construction for beneficiaries of the National Target Program. Voters in Thanh Son commune requested that the electricity sector provide compensation to residents annually when clearing vegetation in the safety corridor of power lines...

After listening to the opinions and suggestions of the voters, Representative Mai Xuan Lien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, on behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, respectfully thanked the voters for their affection and trust in the representatives; and at the same time, analyzed and clarified some issues of concern to the voters within his authority.
The delegation of the Provincial People's Council will fully consider all opinions to compile and report to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution.
