According to the announcement of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, from December 1 to 6, candidates who wish to take the Thinking Assessment (TSA) test can register at: https://tsa.hust.edu.vn/. The test fee is 500,000 VND/time. The school recommends that candidates use Google's Chrome browser when performing operations, so that the registration process goes smoothly.
Candidates who register this time will take the exam on January 18-19, 2025.
VTC News reported that in 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology plans to organize 3 rounds of thinking assessment exams in January-April 2025 with about 75,000 turns, an increase of 25,000 compared to this year. In addition to the 12 provinces and cities as last year, namely Hanoi, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Da Nang , the school will open an additional testing site in Lao Cai province for candidates in the Northwestern provinces to travel more conveniently.

The 2025 Thinking Assessment Exam Schedule is as follows:
Phase 1: Exam date 18-19/1/2025; Registration opening date 1-6/12/2024
Round 2: Exam date 8-9/3/2025; Registration opening date 1-6/2/2025
Phase 3: Exam date 26-27/4/2025; Registration opening date 1-6/4/2025
The TSA Thinking Assessment consists of three parts: Mathematical Thinking (60 minutes), Reading Comprehension (30 minutes), and Scientific Thinking/Problem Solving (60 minutes). These are three independent parts, with questions focusing on assessing the candidate's thinking ability, not directly testing knowledge of any subject.
The test format is multiple choice on computer. Total score is 100. The test results will be valid for two years for candidates to apply for university admission (depending on the school).
In 2024, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology TSA exam will have 6 sessions with more than 20,000 candidates (nearly 50,000 exams). The average score is 53.1. The percentage of candidates scoring above 70 points is nearly 9%. Only 20 students scored above 90. The valedictorian scored 96.43 points.
