The Trade Union of the Social Policy Bank of Dong Thap province currently has 22 affiliated Trade Unions with 277 union members. During the past term, the Trade Union of the Social Policy Bank of Dong Thap province closely followed the leadership of the Party Committee and closely coordinated with the professional sector to effectively implement key tasks, completing 100% of the targets set out in the Resolution of the Congress; promptly and effectively implementing social policy credit, the development strategy of the Social Policy Bank for the period 2021 - 2030, excellently completing the tasks assigned by the Social Policy Bank, contributing to building a strong Trade Union organization.

The Trade Union clearly demonstrates its role in representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; focusing on improving the material and spiritual life of union members. In addition, social security work is widely implemented, contributing to the Trade Union Fund, the Social Policy Bank's Charity Fund and supporting humanitarian charity campaigns, with a total amount of over 2.3 billion VND.

The Congress approved the decision of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the Bank for Social Policies to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Trade Union of the Bank for Social Policies of Dong Thap province for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Tran Dang Nhien, Deputy Director of the Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of the Bank for Social Policies of Dong Thap province for the 2025-2030 term.

At the Congress, the Trade Union of the Bank for Social Policies of Dong Thap province launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by storms and floods, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union awarded the 2024 Excellent Unit Emulation Flag to the Dong Thap Provincial Social Policy Bank Trade Union. The Social Policy Bank Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Social Policy Bank emulation movement.
