The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has just issued a notice to the Vietnamese community in the country. The Embassy stated that on the morning of June 17th, Iran simultaneously launched 20 ballistic missiles at Israel, marking a shift to daytime attack tactics that could increase the risk of casualties and damage.
Central and northern Israel remain at risk as the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to escalate significantly.

Given the increasingly deteriorating security situation, several foreign embassies in Israel (including China, the US, Russia, etc.) have urged their citizens to proactively seek ways to return home or relocate to a third country, particularly recommending the use of land border crossings into Jordan or Egypt.
Israeli airspace remains closed, and international commercial flights are not expected to resume anytime soon.
To ensure the safety of Vietnamese citizens in Israel and their property, the Embassy advises them to proactively prepare and find ways to leave Israel via land border crossings, especially towards Jordan or Egypt, when security and safety conditions permit. The Embassy urges citizens to remain calm and closely monitor Vietnamese community information groups for specific updates.
Citizens can register their desire to leave Israel for Vietnam or a third country via the registration link provided on the Embassy's fanpage. The registration information will help the Embassy compile a list, summarize needs, and coordinate with relevant Israeli and Vietnamese authorities, as well as embassies of other countries in Israel and Vietnam abroad, to develop appropriate support plans for each group, at different times, and depending on the evolving situation.
Citizens should continue to strictly adhere to local security regulations and prepare all necessary items (personal documents, medicine, food, power banks, etc.) to be able to evacuate or seek temporary shelter for a short period in case their homes are damaged and they can no longer stay there.
Currently, there are approximately 700 Vietnamese people living, studying, and working in Israel. These can be divided into several main groups: about 500 people who have permanently settled in Israel; students and agricultural trainees in Israel; and the remaining group, which includes 16 family members of staff from the Vietnamese representative office in Israel.
All staff members of the diplomatic mission maintain regular contact with contacts and families in the community to jointly disseminate information. The embassy has established a hotline so that people can contact them at any time.
