The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has just announced to the Vietnamese community in the host country. The embassy said that on the morning of June 17, Iran simultaneously launched 20 ballistic missiles into Israel, marking a shift to daytime attack tactics, which could increase the risk of casualties and damage.
Central and northern areas of Israel remain in danger zones as the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to escalate.

Faced with the increasingly deteriorating security situation, a number of foreign embassies in Israel (including China, the US, Russia...) have called on their citizens to proactively find ways to return home or leave for a third country, especially recommending using land border crossings to Jordan or Egypt.
Israeli airspace remains closed and international commercial flights are unlikely to resume in the near future.
To ensure the safety of lives and property of Vietnamese citizens in Israel, the Embassy recommends that people proactively prepare and find ways to leave Israel via land border gates, especially towards Jordan or Egypt, when security and safety conditions allow. The Embassy recommends that people remain calm and closely monitor Vietnamese community information groups for specific updates.
Citizens can register their wishes to leave Israel for Vietnam or to a third country via the registration link provided on the Embassy's fanpage. The registration information will help the Embassy make a list, summarize the needs and coordinate with the Israeli and Vietnamese authorities, the embassies of countries in Israel and Vietnam abroad to coordinate and develop appropriate support plans for each target group, each time and depending on the development of the situation.
Citizens need to continue to strictly comply with local security regulations, fully prepare essential items (personal documents, medicine, food, spare batteries, etc.) to be able to evacuate and take temporary shelter for a short time in case their house is damaged and they cannot continue to stay.
There are currently about 700 Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Israel, which can be divided into main groups: relatives who have settled permanently in Israel, about 500 people; students, agricultural trainees in Israel and the remaining group, including 16 family members of staff of representative agencies in Israel.
All staff of the representative office maintain regular contact with contacts and families in the community to share information. The embassy has set up a hotline so that people can contact at any time.
