Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security presented the Decision to appoint Colonel Pham Hoang Diep to the position of Director of the National Aviation Security Center.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security presented the Decision to appoint Colonel Pham Hoang Diep, Deputy Director of the Immigration Department, to the position of Director of the National Aviation Security Center. Colonel Pham Hoang Diep, former Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, was previously transferred to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Immigration Department.

Implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on streamlining the political system's organizational structure to operate effectively and efficiently, the Government assigned the Ministry of Public Security to take over the task of ensuring aviation security from March 1, 2025.

The Ministry of Public Security promptly launched the National Aviation Security Center to continue effective management, ensuring civil aviation activities take place continuously, safely, and in accordance with international standards.

At the same time, enhance the ability to respond to traditional and non-traditional security challenges, contributing to maintaining national stability, maintaining a favorable environment for socio-economic development and international integration.
