Dak Lak: Two products achieved 5-star OCOP certification at the national level

Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued a decision approving the results of the evaluation and classification of products of the National One Commune One Product Program in 2024 (phase 3).

Accordingly, 28 products have been certified as 5-star OCOP at the national level this time, of which Dak Lak province is honored to have two products: Premium Macadamia Nuts (Damaca Nguyen Phuong Joint Stock Company) and Kien Cuong Weasel Coffee (Kien Cuong One Member Co., Ltd). This is the first time Dak Lak province has a product recognized as OCOP at the national level.

These are the key agricultural products that Dak Lak province focuses on developing to build the OCOP product brand. These products are produced and processed in association with local advantages and strengths; have beautiful packaging designs, suitable for product characteristics, exploit cultural values, have the capacity to develop the market and have also been exported to many countries around the world .

The product is granted a National OCOP product certificate by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and is allowed to use the national OCOP logo and stamp on packaging, labels and product introduction and promotion documents according to regulations.

At the same time, priority is given to support promotional activities, introduction and trade promotion, use as gifts and presents in diplomatic activities and local events.

National OCOP product producers are responsible for organizing management and controlling product quality in accordance with the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP products; continuing to improve product quality and image in the market. Evaluation and classification results are valid for 36 months from the date of recognition.
