In recent times, the Standing Committee of Gia Vien District Party Committee has focused on leading and closely directing the work of developing Party members. Thereby creating more vitality for the Party, improving the Party's capacity and fighting strength.
In recent years, the work of developing party members in grassroots party organizations has encountered difficulties, especially in grassroots party committees and branches due to lack of resources. In fact, the majority of young people after graduating from junior high school and high school continue to study at vocational schools, colleges, universities or work far away; others work in companies and factories, so they have little time to participate in local activities...
Faced with that reality, the Party Committees of communes and towns in Gia Vien district have focused on implementing solutions to complete and exceed assigned targets.
Comrade Nguyen Van Minh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Gia Hung Commune Party Committee, said: Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Commune Party Committee have paid special attention to the work of developing Party members and the quality of Party members. Accordingly, Party members in charge of Party cells have been assigned to pay attention to the work of finding sources of training, helping outstanding people strive to join the Party, and implementing the preparation of records when they meet the admission requirements.
At the same time, direct organizations to promote emulation movements, discover positive factors to create sources for party development. Pay attention to reviewing members of associations, organizations, and teachers of schools...
Since the beginning of the term, Gia Hung Commune Party Committee has achieved and exceeded the targets assigned by Gia Vien District Party Committee on Party member development work: In 2020, 8 Party members were admitted, completing 100% of the target; in 2021, 10 Party members were admitted, reaching 125%; in 2022, 9 Party members were admitted, reaching 110%; in 2023, 11 Party members were admitted, currently the commune has admitted 4 Party members, expected to complete and exceed the assigned target of 2023.
In addition to ensuring the targets assigned by the superior Party Committee, Party organizations always attach importance to the quality of new Party members. Comrade Nguyen Chi Thanh, Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 6, Gia Tran Commune, said: Implementing the targets assigned by the Party Committee of the commune in the 2020-2025 term, Party Cell 6 of Hamlet 6 developed from 1-3 Party members, the Party Committee and Party Cell met and had a resolution on the work of developing Party members in the Party Cell, deploying it to each Party member in the Party Cell. The Party Cell held meetings with mass organizations in the village to disseminate and implement the resolution, focusing on the source of Party members to ensure quality and standards according to regulations... In 2022, the Party Cell admitted 1 outstanding mass to the Party. Currently, the Party Cell is waiting for the decision of the superior to admit 1 more mass.
To find sources for Party development, schools, Party cell committees, organizations and each Party member in the Party cell should promote their role as exemplary, especially the leaders. Actively carry out propaganda, mobilization, andeducation on the Party's revolutionary ideals, raise teachers' awareness of the role and importance of the Party, strive to strive, and voluntarily apply to join the Party.
Teacher Hoang Thi Ngan, a teacher at Gia Tran Kindergarten, was admitted to the Party in 2021 and said: As a young Party member, I have clearly identified my responsibilities when standing in the ranks of the Party; always strictly follow the Party's policies and guidelines and fulfill all tasks in Party work and professional expertise; constantly study, practice, and improve my knowledge to serve the work at the school. After being admitted, I actively participated in monthly Party activities, regularly upholding the spirit of criticism and self-criticism. Promoting the vanguard and exemplary role in performing assigned tasks. Actively propagandizing and mobilizing colleagues and people to implement the Party and State's policies, guidelines, and policies, and bringing the Party's resolutions into life.
The Resolution of the 22nd Congress of Gia Vien District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term sets out an average of 170 or more party members per year. To achieve this goal, every year, the Standing Committee of Gia Vien District Party Committee has strengthened its leadership and directed grassroots party organizations to pay attention to the work of developing the Party. Along with that, party committees and grassroots party organizations have focused on leading and directing the promotion of emulation movements, creating a favorable environment to gather and attract union members, association members, cadres and teachers to participate. Thereby, discovering positive factors to foster and introduce for Party admission.
From the beginning of the term to July 2023, the Gia Vien District Party Committee has admitted over 650 new party members; in which, in 2021 and 2022, the plan was exceeded. In the first 7 months of 2023, 199 new party members were admitted, reaching nearly 87% of the yearly plan. Of which, over 74% of the newly admitted party members are union members. Notably, the number of party members who are new teachers of all levels and students of high schools in the area is increasing.
With the results achieved in the work of developing party members during the half-term of the Congress, the Gia Vien District Party Committee has gradually built a team of young party members with high qualifications and good moral qualities, creating a source of successor cadres for localities and units. At the same time, it ensures the inheritance and continuous development of the Party to lead and direct the successful implementation of political tasks set forth by localities and units, unite and strive to build Gia Vien homeland to develop more and more.
