The Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Technology is determined to complete its tasks in 2026.

In 2025, the Party Committee and Commander of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and Party Committees and Commanders at all levels focused on leading and directing agencies and units to unite, accelerate, make breakthroughs, proactively overcome difficulties, and successfully complete tasks; many tasks were excellently completed, contributing to the comprehensive completion of the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the Party Congress of the General Department of Logistics and the Resolution of the Party Congress of the General Department of Engineering for the 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, units focus on leading, directing, thoroughly implementing Decision No. 366/QD-BQP dated January 24, 2025 of the Minister of National Defense on merging the General Department of Logistics and the General Department of Engineering and reorganizing them into the General Department of Logistics and Engineering; Decision No. 3490-QD/QUTW dated February 4, 2025 of the Central Military Commission on establishing the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering; completing the merger, reorganization, transfer, upgrading, establishment, and dissolution of agencies and units according to the Decision of the Ministry; organizing handovers at all levels according to plans and regulations; doing a good job of political education and ideological leadership; promptly developing internal normative documents; regulating the functions, tasks, and working relationships of agencies and units; assigning tasks; stabilizing workplaces and living conditions.

All aspects of the unit's work quickly became routine, operating synchronously, without interrupting tasks, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

Advise and direct the drastic and effective implementation of Resolution No. 1658-NQ/QUTW and Resolution No. 1656-NQ/QUTW dated December 20, 2022 of the Central Military Commission on leadership of logistics and technical work of the Army until 2030 and the following years; comprehensively deploy and complete the goals, targets, action programs, and logistics and technical work plans to implement the Resolutions of the Congresses of the two General Department Party Committees, the Resolutions of the 11th Army Party Congress and the year 2025 set forth.

Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc, Deputy Secretary, Director of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, spoke at the Conference.

Focus on leading the implementation of the functions of advising, directing, and promptly ensuring logistics and techniques for training, combat readiness, and unexpected missions; the focus is on ensuring that units on duty are ready to fight to protect the sovereignty of seas, islands, borders, and key areas, especially forces participating in parades and marches during major national holidays; the task of responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms, and floods in some areas in the northern and central regions...

Leading the building of a strong and comprehensive "Exemplary and typical" General Department agency and unit with good results; leading and directing party congresses at all levels and successfully organizing the first Congress of the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Technology; effectively implementing solutions to build a clean and strong General Department Party Committee; strictly maintaining party discipline and regime; promptly issuing (supplementing) leadership resolutions, plans, programs, working regulations, and leadership regulations for key aspects of work.

Major General Ha Nhu Loi, Party Committee member, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, spoke at the Conference.

The Party Committee agreed that, on the basis of effectively implementing the three breakthroughs according to the Resolution of the 1st General Department Party Congress, in 2026, it will focus on the following breakthroughs: Consulting on perfecting the institution on logistics and technical work, focusing on issuing a new Decree to replace Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP and implementing guidelines; continuing to build a lean, compact, and strong General Department; improving the quality of training, building regulations, and managing discipline; sharply reducing the number of incidents and traffic accidents due to subjective errors; focusing resources on perfecting infrastructure, digital data and human resources, creating a breakthrough in digital transformation and military administrative reform.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien assigned the Political Department and the General Staff to absorb, supplement, and complete the Resolution and the 2026 Work Summary Report to report to the Party Secretary and the General Department Director for signing, promulgation, and implementation.

On this occasion, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Technology awarded the Medal for the cause of Party building and organization to five comrades in the Party Committee of the General Department to recognize and honor cadres and party members who have made many contributions to the cause of Party building and at the same time encourage cadres and party members to inherit and promote traditions, actively research, advise, propose and lead and direct the unit's Party Committee to successfully complete all assigned tasks, making an important contribution to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
