Dortmund beat Ulsan 1-0 to advance to the FIFA Club World Cup
Before the third round of Group F, Dortmund and Fluminense were both leading with 4 points, they only needed a draw in the final round to secure a ticket to the round of 16. Both teams showed their maturity and reasonable calculation, taking advantage of this advantage to safely advance to the next round.
Dortmund were the team that was rated much higher than Ulsan Hyundai, the European representative launched 28 shots and controlled the ball 60%. However, it was not until the 36th minute that Dortmund opened the scoring thanks to a goal by Daniel Svensson. The first half ended without any more notable situations.

In the second half, Ulsan played better when they began to exploit the gaps in Dortmund's defense. The clearest chance came in the 60th minute, when Lee Jin Hhyun fired a shot from a tight angle on the left wing, but goalkeeper Gregor Kobel made an excellent reflex save, maintaining the advantage for the German team.
Dortmund quickly regained the advantage and put pressure on Ulsan's goal. However, in a day of poor performance from the attack, the European representative could not penetrate the opponent's defense once more. Winning 1-0, the German representative took the lead in Group F and won the right to continue.
In the remaining match of Group F, Fluminense and Mamelodi Sundowns drew 0-0 in a match that did not have many dangerous chances. With this result, Fluminense got 5 points after three matches, just enough to win the second ticket to the round of 16. Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns had to accept stopping with only 2 points and ranked third in the group.
Fluminense endured a difficult match against underdogs Mamelodi Sundowns. The South American side only had 32% possession and failed to register a single shot on target throughout the match.
On the other hand, despite dominating the game and creating a lot of pressure, Mamelodi Sundowns lacked precision in finishing, had to accept a 0-0 draw and soon said goodbye to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
