Training and coaching to improve application and management capacity in e-commerce

On November 8, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) to organize training to improve the application and management capacity of e-commerce for 80 state management officials of departments, branches, districts, cities and towns in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Director of the Center for E-commerce Development, Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy , gave an overview of e-commerce application trends.

At the training class, the trainees were presented with the following contents by the reporter of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy: Overview of e-commerce application trends; instructions on administrative procedures for notification of e-commerce websites; prevention of counterfeit goods and fraud in e-commerce; application of digital technology to improve e-commerce management efficiency...

Through training courses, cadres, civil servants and public employees at all levels and sectors will grasp basic knowledge about e-commerce, update the development situation of e-commerce, the situation of digital transformation in the country and the world; thereby improving the capacity of state management of e-commerce; managing, monitoring and protecting consumer rights against counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, violations of intellectual property rights and violations of laws on consumer rights protection, as well as tax management.

It is known that currently, Phu Tho province has a modern basic information technology infrastructure, information and propaganda work, and support for e-commerce is focused. Currently, the province has 97 e-commerce websites that are operating and have notified the Ministry of Industry and Trade; 2 websites providing e-commerce services have registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade according to regulations. Regarding the e-commerce index in 2024, Phu Tho province ranked 27th out of 58 provinces and cities ranked in the e-commerce index nationwide.
