The construction site of the Southeast New Urban Area is on Hai Ba Trung Street (from Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to the Southeast drainage canal), in Trung Vuong Commune, Song Lo Commune and Thanh Mieu Ward, Viet Tri City with a total land use area of ​​63.54 hectares.

Up to now, the project has acquired 32.29 hectares/63.54 hectares. To speed up the project's progress, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Viet Tri City People's Committee to inspect and review the land acquisition and allocation; develop a site clearance plan. In the immediate future, focus on implementing the land acquisition process (developing a plan for compulsory inventory and enforcement), ensuring the requirements according to regulations; strive to hand over 31.25 hectares/63.54 hectares of land to investors in 2024. At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Provincial Police, and the Department of Justice to review the order, procedures, compensation records, and project site clearance to develop a draft plan for compulsory land acquisition of the project according to regulations.
