One of the highlights of the rehearsal was the performance "Luu Thuy - Kim Tien - Xuan Phong - Long Ho" performed by Meritorious Artist Le Giang and the Net Viet group. This folk song and Hue royal court music was arranged to combine with the Sun Symphony Orchestra, creating a unique blend of traditional music and modern symphonic spirit. Musician Tran Manh Hung commented: "This combination can open up a new direction for modern folk music."

Cellist Phan Phuc is full of emotion with the lyrical piece " Towards Hanoi" arranged in a gentle, profound and deep style.

Young artist Luong Khanh Nhi, who has just returned from Europe, expressed her emotions at being able to participate in the program on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day: "I am very happy to perform with the Sun Symphony Orchestra and to work again with Mr. Tran Manh Hung."

Regarding the two performances by Phan Phuc and Luong Khanh Nhi, musician Tran Manh Hung said: “These are instrumental pieces that originated from vocal music but have been elevated to wordless works. This requires the performers to practice very hard. Even the process of completing the score took me a lot of time, but it was all worth it.”

The rehearsal also saw the return of Tung Duong with two performances: Dak Krong River in Spring and A Round of Vietnam . With his extensive experience, he quickly integrated and coordinated effectively with the orchestra.

After that, singer Ha An Huy had a practice session for the song "Hue - Saigon - Hanoi". For the first time participating in Dieu con mai, the male singer shared his feeling of honor when he was able to sing in gratitude for the past, cherish the present and place his faith in the future. The choir also practiced actively to support his performance.

The Kosmos Opera Choir practiced actively and focused, supporting singer Ha An Huy's performance.

Singer Viet Danh had an exciting practice with the song "Wind Blows in All Directions" for the show "What Remains Forever" 2025.

Dinh Trang and Hoang Ke had their first rehearsal with the Sun Symphony Orchestra for the performance “Thei Mai” – a work imbued with traditional and modern nuances, blending Vietnamese folk music and symphonic orchestral style.

This year, Pham Khanh Ngoc will perform the song "Nha Trang, Autumn Comes Back". Being used to singing with the orchestra, the female singer easily got into the rhythm and had no difficulty. She received praise from conductor Olivier Ochanine for her performance.

Singer Bach Tra with her soulful voice also enthusiastically practiced the performance "Sending you a poem hat" - a song rich in Northern folk music combined with modern symphony.

It didn't take long for the Soldiers to get into the groove with the orchestra. The group reported a productive rehearsal with conductor Olivier Ochanine and the orchestra.

Summarizing the rehearsal, musician Tran Manh Hung commented: “The musical emotions reached 9-10 points right from the first session. I hope this year’s program will leave a deep impression on the audience about traditional music, Vietnamese classical music, as well as the beauty of Western instruments in classical style.”
Tomorrow, all the artists will continue to have the second practice session at the Hanoi Opera House. Then on the morning of September 2, they will have a rehearsal and officially perform at 2:00 p.m. on September 2 at the Hoan Kiem Theater. The national concert "What remains forever 2025" will be broadcast live on VTV1.
