Behind the scenes of the film "Life Is Still Beautiful"

In the latest episode (episode 27), Mrs. Luc unexpectedly passes away after finding a large sum of money. Afterwards, Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) and everyone in the neighborhood under the bridge, along with the local authorities, take care of Mrs. Luc's funeral arrangements.

At the funeral, Luu prayed and asked the woman to allow everyone to mourn because she had no children or relatives. The neighbors treated her like family, mourning her so that she could rest in peace. Luu hoped that she would meet her family and relatives in the afterlife and bless the villagers so that they could soon escape from this slum under the bridge.

A profound silence fell over everyone, as no one knew for sure. Hearing that the old man had passed away on the full moon day, the residents of the boarding house began to pray, as everyone believed that those who died on this day were very sacred. This scene moved many viewers.

According to a behind-the-scenes clip shared by actor To Dung, the actors improvised to complete the scene, creating a variety of emotions.

In contrast to the somber atmosphere on screen, behind the scenes, the actors were incredibly relaxed and enthusiastic, practicing their lines and giving each other feedback on every word.

Director Nguyen Danh Dung was very attentive to the scene, even standing close to the coffin to direct the actors on everything from who to say to who to wear the mourning scarf. "Now that the emotion is gone, let's joke around," Director Nguyen Danh Dung said. Therefore, despite having to deliver very emotional lines, the actors were instead laughing and chatting boisterously.

The night before she died, Mrs. Luc pulled Mrs. Tinh into her room to show off, saying she had finally achieved her dreams: buying a coffin, a new set of clothes, and having a portrait taken for her memorial.

Meanwhile, artist Le Duc Tho, who was in charge of the set design in the film, revealed that this was also a memorable scene during the making of this movie.

"In the scene where Mrs. Luc and Mrs. Tinh (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy) are talking, the director requested a coffin be placed in the room. I didn't expect the director to come up with something so difficult."

"We had to rent the equipment twice, once for the aforementioned scene and once for Mrs. Luc's funeral scene. In fact, we had to ask many places before they agreed to rent it," director Duc Tho explained.
