Delegation of Israeli experts and scientists signed a cooperation agreement with Gia Lai enterprises

(GLO)- On the morning of September 8, Mr. Nguyen Dung - Vice President of the Vietnam Farm and Agricultural Enterprise Association said that the delegation of Israeli experts and scientists signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Gia Lai enterprises to transfer agricultural technology and increase crop productivity.

Previously, on September 4 and 5, a delegation of Israeli experts and scientists led by Mr. Sandberg Eliezer - former Minister of Science and High Technology of Israel - visited the Israeli passion fruit nursery of Thong Do International Joint Stock Company (Ia Le commune); worked with Khang Thinh Irrigation Technology Joint Stock Company (Chu Se commune) - the supplier of Israeli irrigation systems.

Visiting Chu Se Rubber One Member Co., Ltd., the delegation surveyed the cooperative land for growing high-quality coffee and passion fruit and the coffee processing factory project in the South Pleiku Industrial Park to orient the construction of an organic coffee area, applying Israel's smart irrigation technology to increase added value and expand sustainable exports.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Sandberg Eliezer affirmed that Israel is willing to share experiences and transfer technology to improve productivity, quality and added value for Vietnamese agricultural products.

Memoranda of understanding were signed between the Israeli expert delegation and Gia Lai enterprises focusing on transferring smart irrigation technology, microbial fertilizers, developing organic coffee, cocoa, and passion fruit raw material areas, and supporting the connection of agricultural product exports to international markets.

The two sides will agree on development cooperation plans for each solution and product in specific stages and commit to seriously implementing the contents of the memorandum in the spirit of goodwill, equality and mutual benefit cooperation.

This is considered a positive signal, contributing to promoting high-tech agriculture and opening up new cooperation opportunities for Gia Lai in particular and the Central Highlands in general.
