On the morning of December 10th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the 2025 Prime Minister's Conference on Dialogue with Farmers, themed "Applying Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation in Farmers".
At the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh addressed and clarified many proposals and recommendations from delegates, including farmers, scientists, and businesses in the agricultural sector, related to various issues such as: mechanisms and policies to promote cooperation, transfer, and application of science and technology in agriculture; solutions to support training and digital transformation for farmers; and policies and solutions regarding credit, taxation, and market expansion for farmers.

Concluding the conference, the Prime Minister conveyed the best wishes and congratulations of General Secretary To Lam and the Party and State leaders to all attendees, while emphasizing the role, position, and importance of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in the development of the country in any era. According to the Prime Minister, farmers are soldiers on the agricultural front, therefore they must always adapt to all circumstances, fight, and win on this crucial front.
Regarding the concerns of farmers and businesses at the dialogue, the Prime Minister emphasized many solutions in promoting green production, digital transformation, brand building, and climate change adaptation; mechanisms and policies to support land, credit, resource mobilization, and especially strengthening public-private cooperation in agriculture.
The Prime Minister urged businesses and associations to actively coordinate with ministries and agencies to expand and diversify markets, products, and supply chains, not only exporting products but also agricultural technology.
Regarding the restoration of agricultural production after the historic storms and floods, the Prime Minister requested support for people in terms of plant and animal breeds, and aquatic products; the urgent restoration of essential infrastructure, supply chains, and agricultural product consumption; and research into reducing interest rates and extending or postponing debt payments for farmers and businesses.
