The National Assembly delegation of Ninh Thuan province met with voters after the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly in Phuoc Dai and Phuoc Nam communes.

On May 7th, the National Assembly delegation from the province (constituency number 2), including delegates Dang Thi My Huong, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; and Nguyen Van Thuan, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, held a meeting with voters in Phuoc Dai commune (Bac Ai district) and Phuoc Nam commune (Thuan Nam district).

After hearing the report on the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, voters in Phuoc Dai and Phuoc Nam communes proposed issues such as: Investing in upgrading and expanding National Highway 27B to facilitate traffic flow and minimize traffic accidents; requesting the Ministry of Industry and Trade to consider revising the electricity consumption quota for households to better suit the current situation; promptly implementing solutions to connect reservoirs to ensure a stable water supply for production; considering lowering the age of the elderly from 80 to 75 so that they can benefit from state policies; and investing in rural and inter-field road systems to facilitate travel and goods transportation for the people…

During these meetings, representatives from local authorities and relevant departments and agencies received and addressed opinions and recommendations within their jurisdiction.

On behalf of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies, Ms. Dang Thi My Huong, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions and suggestions of the voters from the two communes. She also requested that issues falling under the jurisdiction of relevant departments, agencies, and localities be promptly reviewed and thoroughly addressed to ensure their resolution in accordance with the law. Other suggestions falling under the jurisdiction of the central government will be compiled, studied, and forwarded to the relevant authorities for consideration and response as stipulated by law.
