From National Highway 1, passing through Duc Loi commune (Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province), moving about 9 km to the East, you will reach Cua Lo beach, in An Chuan village, Duc Loi commune, where you will see a temple shaped like a ship facing the sea.

This temple is called Am Hon Temple in An Chuan village, Duc Loi commune. It worships river gods, sea gods and the souls of unfortunate fishermen who lost their lives on stormy sea voyages.

According to the elders in An Chuan village, Am Hon temple was built a long time ago. Later, the temple was degraded and damaged, so people from the coastal fishing villages of Duc Loi commune pooled their resources to rebuild this temple.

The Am Hon Temple campus has a total area of ​​nearly 1,500 m2, the temple area alone is about 100 m2.

The Am Hon Temple project was completed in 2023, shaped like a ship facing the sea right next to Cua Lo estuary, where the Ve River flows into the East Sea. The Am Hon Temple campus has a total area of ​​nearly 1,500 m2, of which the temple area is about 100 m2.

This is where fishermen come to pray for peace, good luck and blessings from the sea for their voyages. It is also a place to pay homage to the souls of unfortunate fishermen who met with an accident at sea and never returned.
