Today, October 22nd, the Steering Committee 515 of Quang Tri province held a send-off ceremony, assigning tasks to Team 584 (Team 584), under the Provincial Military Command, to search for and collect the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos during the 2024-2025 dry season. Mr. Hoang Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Steering Committee 515 of Quang Tri province, attended the ceremony.
In his speech assigning the task, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam emphasized: The work of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos is an important political task; it is the responsibility of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army, profoundly demonstrating the Vietnamese people's tradition of "drinking water and remembering the source."

To successfully fulfill this mission, it is requested that officers and staff of Team 584 recognize this as a sacred responsibility and duty to their comrades, fellow soldiers, and forefathers who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, and for noble international duties. It is also about fulfilling the aspirations of leaders, authorities at all levels, and the families of fallen soldiers.
In addition, officers and staff of Team 584 need to thoroughly understand regulations on international relations; regulations of the laws of Vietnam and Laos; strictly abide by military discipline, regulations of the Ministry of National Defense , and regulations of Military Region 4 in foreign relations.
At the same time, we must do a good job of mobilizing the people to both assist the people of Laos and gather information, striving to excellently complete the task and targets of searching for and collecting the remains of martyrs during the 2024-2025 dry season.
On this occasion, the National Steering Committee 515; the Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 4; the Provincial Steering Committee 515; the Provincial Military Command; the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; and the Women's Association of the Provincial Military Command presented gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of Team 584 as they set off to perform their duties.
