Ia Puch Border Guard Station ( Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard) manages and protects the 8.7km long frontal border section, located in Ia Puch commune, Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province.

Major Phan Cong Thang, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Ia Puch Border Guard Station, said: “Every year, the unit has proactively advised and coordinated with the Party Committee, government and mass organizations of Ia Puch commune to promote propaganda, dissemination and legal education, mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, border regulations and local regulations. At the same time, we coordinate to develop plans, organize forces to build infrastructure, select specific and suitable contents, locations and families to help people develop the economy, contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people in the stationed area”.
To effectively carry out mass mobilization work in the area where the unit is stationed, the Party Committee and the Command of the station have assigned 4 party members to participate in party cell activities in 4 villages and hamlets, assigned 21 cadres to be in charge of 111 households, and regularly cared for and helped both materially and spiritually the households in difficult circumstances in the area to escape poverty in a sustainable way.
In order to continuously raise people's awareness of border security sovereignty, rights and obligations of citizens in border areas, officers and soldiers of Ia Puch Border Guard Station have synchronously implemented many different forms and methods to organize propaganda and mobilize the masses with easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember and easy-to-implement contents. In just the first 6 months of 2023, the unit independently and in coordination with departments and organizations of the commune organized propaganda and mobilization in 21 sessions/3,101 people. The propaganda content mainly focused on: Vietnam Border Guard Law; Law on Drug Prevention and Control; Law on Religious Beliefs; Law on Prevention and Control of Human Trafficking; Law on Marriage and Family; Law on Forest Protection and Development...; effectively implementing specific and practical programs and models such as: Program "Helping children go to school - adopted children of Border Guard Station"...
