On the morning of November 22, Dong A commune, Dong Hung district held a ceremony to receive the certificate of national historical and cultural relic ranking for Giang temple.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the certificate of national historical and cultural relic of Giang Temple.

Giang Temple in Dai Dong village, Dong A commune was built in the late 16th century, is a place to worship the spirit of the Queen Mother Regent Y Lan and Princess Thieu Ninh of the Tran Dynasty. These are two people who contributed to the development of the mulberry growing, silkworm raising, and weaving industry and gave land to the people to plant and grow crops. Before the August Revolution, Giang Temple was the base where the Party selected Viet Minh cadres to disseminate the uprising plan, and was the place to establish party cells and national defense teams. After the August Revolution, the temple was a place of guard, remote control, meeting place, and planning to fight the enemy... Giang Temple was also the place to send off young people to join the army and open classes for popular education...

With its outstanding cultural and historical values, in 2020, Giang Temple was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic and in March 2023, it was ranked as a national-level historical and cultural relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism .
