On the morning of July 24th, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, met with voters from 11 communes and wards of Thai Binh city following the sixth session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026. Mr. Hoang Van Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People's Council, along with other delegates from the Provincial People's Council and the City People's Council, attended the meeting.

City voters highly appreciated the results of the session; expressing their delight with the economic growth of the province and the city in the first six months of the year. Voters suggested that the province review and implement policies regarding funeral expenses for war veterans to ensure the rights of citizens; pay attention to environmental pollution control; invest in infrastructure development during the process of upgrading communes to wards; ensure social welfare; and consider increasing compensation for people whose land is affected by land clearance projects. Voters hoped that the delegates would continue to uphold their responsibility in addressing the legitimate opinions and aspirations of the people, and continue to build a developed, civilized, prosperous, and beautiful city.

At the conference, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, informed attendees about some outstanding results in the province's socio-economic development in the first six months of the year, affirming that these were the great efforts of all levels, sectors, and people, including Thai Binh City. The province and city are implementing many important projects, therefore, the Party Committee, government, departments, and mass organizations of the city, communes, and wards are stepping up propaganda to create consensus among the people in land clearance and effectively implement the set goals and tasks. They are reviewing targets and plans, supplementing specific solutions, and effectively exploiting resources for investment and development; paying attention to resolving difficulties for businesses; continuing urban beautification, creating a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment. They are also strengthening state management in all fields. The focus is on effectively implementing social welfare policies, ensuring security and order, and building a strong Party and political system. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized the province's policy of attracting investment in modern waste treatment technology, and expressed his hope that the people would actively participate and support this initiative to ensure environmental protection and sustainable development.
