Comrade Vu Anh Tuan was appointed as General Director of TKV Group.

On the afternoon of October 23, in Hanoi, the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on high-ranking officials. Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Hoang Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises; comrade Nguyen Duc Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc. On the TKV side, comrade Ngo Hoang Ngan, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, chaired the announcement and handing over of decisions.

At the conference, representatives of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and the Board of Members of the Group announced and awarded decisions to appoint members of the Board of Members, appoint members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and appoint the position of General Director of the Group to comrade Vu Anh Tuan, replacing comrade Dang Thanh Hai who has just retired.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Hoang Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, emphasized that comrade Vu Anh Tuan, having held many leadership positions in the Group, has made great contributions to the development of TKV in recent times. In his position as head of the executive apparatus, he believes that comrade Vu Anh Tuan will lead the TKV apparatus to operate stably, build a united collective, and overcome all difficulties and challenges.

Speaking on accepting the assignment, General Director of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group Vu Anh Tuan thanked the superiors for their trust in assigning the task and pledged to inherit and promote the development achievements over many periods, promote the tradition of "Discipline and Unity" and the strengths of the Group to bring TKV to continue to develop sustainably.

Previously, on October 21, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group Ngo Hoang Ngan signed a decision to appoint Comrade Vu Anh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee and Deputy General Director of TKV to hold the position of General Director of the Group. Comrade Vu Anh Tuan's term of office is 5 years from the date of appointment. Currently, Comrade Vu Anh Tuan also holds the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee and is a member of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

Thus, TKV currently has one General Director and four Deputy General Directors, including Phan Xuan Thuy, Nguyen Tien Manh, Tran Hai Binh and Nguyen Huy Nam.
