Artist Binh Tinh shared that it was a heartfelt tribute to her "older brother" with whom she had shared many stages and tours. Last night, August 14th, at the Nguyen Tri Phuong Funeral Home – where the coffin was laid – many artists were present for the final farewell to Bac Hai.
Due to regulations prohibiting musical performances here, the artists did not sing as usual, but quietly gathered together, sharing unforgettable memories of him – the tall, slender comedian with a witty face and charming acting style that left a lasting impression on audiences since the 1990s.

Present last night were familiar faces from the stage and screen: artists Thanh Hang, Hoang Son, Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long, singers Che Phong, Che Phi, comedian Hong To, comedian Le Nam, singer Nhat Minh, artist Thy Nhung… All silently lit incense sticks and bowed before the portrait of artist Bac Hai.
