Many people compare the scorching sun of Phuoc Dinh to a dreamy purple Lagerstroemia forest, like a "miniature Da Lat" in the heart of the sunny and windy land. Tourists come here not only to take pictures, but also to enjoy the peaceful and poetic feeling of the forest, flowers and sea.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh - a tourist from Hanoi - said that she had experienced many coastal routes in Nha Trang, Binh Thuan and old Phu Yen , but had never seen a place with such beautiful Lagerstroemia forests. The Lagerstroemia here is gentle, natural and full of emotions.
"I never expected that in the scorching sunlight of Phuoc Dinh, I could see such a dreamy scene. I just wanted to sit for a long time, breathe the sea breeze and watch the purple flowers quietly sway in the wind" - Ms. Van Anh said.

Mr. Tran Thanh Son - a photographer in Ninh Phuoc commune (Khanh Hoa) - excitedly said that he initially planned to drive across the coastal road to Ca Na, but seeing the purple color from afar, he stopped to take a look, unexpectedly being "captivated" by the nature and poetic beauty.
"I think if Khanh Hoa province invests more in landscape and keeps its wild features, this place will become a famous check-in spot. Every angle is naturally beautiful, no need for color correction" - Mr. Son said.

According to local people, the Phuoc Dinh - Ca Na Lagerstroemia forest has existed for many years, firmly rooted among the arid rocky hills.
Around June to early August every year, when the Central region's heat reaches its peak, the Lagerstroemia flowers bloom, covering the entire wild and fierce coastal sky in purple.
