(To Quoc) - During the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Da Nang's beaches attracted a large number of locals and tourists from early morning to late afternoon for recreation and swimming.
On April 30th, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches (Da Nang Department of Tourism) announced that during this year's April 30th and May 1st holiday, Da Nang's beaches were crowded with locals and tourists enjoying themselves and swimming.
The beaches that attract the most locals and tourists for recreation and swimming include Pham Van Dong, My Khe, Man Thai, Nguyen Tat Thanh, etc.
"This year, the April 30th - May 1st holiday was long, so my family chose Da Nang for our trip. We enjoyed delicious seafood, clean beach water, and always had security personnel on duty, so we were very satisfied," shared Ms. Thu Mai (a tourist from Hanoi ).
Due to the large crowds at the beaches, especially between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches has increased the number of beach rescue personnel and beach security teams by 100% to patrol and serve locals and tourists, ensuring safety and security for visitors while they swim.
The lifeguards on the beach are working very hard these days. They constantly remind people to swim in the safe areas of the sea.

The Da Nang Beach Tourism Season Program 2024, themed "Summer Waves," will take place from April 26th to May 1st, featuring a variety of rich and unique cultural, sports, and tourism activities to enhance the experiences of locals and tourists. These events will be held along the Hoang Sa – Vo Nguyen Giap, Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal routes and the Son Tra peninsula.
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, approximately 340,000 visitors are expected to come to the city for sightseeing, tourism, and relaxation during the April 30th - May 1st holiday.
