Da Nang tourism welcomes the first flight of Hong Kong Airlines

DNVN - On July 19, Hong Kong Airlines officially launched a direct flight route from Hong Kong (China) to Da Nang with a frequency of 7 flights/week.

At 4:00 p.m. on July 19, 2024, Hong Kong Airlines flight HX548 landed at Da Nang International Airport, bringing 152 passengers from Hong Kong (China) to visit and experience tourism services in the Han River City.

Welcome the first flight of Hong Kong Airlines landing at Da Nang International Airport.

This is the first flight of Hong Kong Airlines to Da Nang, passengers were warmly welcomed by lion dance performance, souvenirs of traditional conical hats and typical gifts of Da Nang tourism.

According to Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Hong Kong Airlines' launch of daily round-trip flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang has contributed to increasing the total number of flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang to 21 flights/week. In addition, there are two airlines operating regular flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang: Hong Kong Express (10 flights/week) and VietJet Air (4 flights/week).

“The participation of Hong Kong Airlines not only contributes to the restoration and development of the international flight network to Da Nang but also opens up many opportunities to connect Da Nang with other international destinations in the region and around the world,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An emphasized.

Sharing the joy of bringing passengers more travel options between Hong Kong and Da Nang, Mr. Gary Zhan, Chairman of Hong Kong Airline, said that the Hong Kong - Da Nang route not only expands the airline's flight network in Southeast Asia but also strengthens Hong Kong's position as an international hub.

According to the Danang Tourism Promotion Center, Hong Kong Airlines is a major international airline of Hong Kong, established in 2006, headquartered at Hong Kong International Airport. Regarding the flight network, Hong Kong Airlines operates and develops mainly regional routes between Hong Kong - China - Vietnam.
