To alleviate traffic congestion at the Lang - Yen Lang intersection, after a period of renovation, the road located beneath the Cat Linh - Hanoi railway line has been completed and the Hanoi Department of Transport has put up signs to implement traffic diversion from the morning of December 30th.

The objective of this route (red arrow) is to allow cars and motorcycles traveling from Lang Street to the Yen Lang - Hoang Cau intersection to bypass the Lang - Yen Lang intersection, thereby reducing traffic congestion at this junction.

The road is two lanes wide, with an elevated railway track in the middle, but on December 30th, authorities only allowed traffic to enter during the morning. From yesterday afternoon (when the authorities withdrew), the road was occupied by stalls, cars, and motorbikes belonging to local residents, blocking traffic.

Many cars are even parked facing the wrong direction, and motorcyclists are also traveling in the wrong direction.

During the afternoon rush hour on December 30th, Lang Street (from Nga Tu So intersection to the Lang - Yen Lang junction) was packed with cars and motorbikes, causing prolonged traffic jams.

Meanwhile, vehicles cannot access the newly opened Lang Street branch (red arrow) to reach the Yen Lang - Hoang Cau street axis.

During the afternoon rush hour on December 30th, a reporter from Tien Phong newspaper was present and observed the situation on the new road branch towards Lang - Yen Lang, but noticed a lack of law enforcement officers such as traffic inspectors and traffic police.

Commenting on this matter, a representative from the Dong Da Traffic Inspection Team (Hanoi Department of Transport Inspection) stated that on the morning of December 30th, after being guided and regulated, cars and motorbikes moved smoothly on the newly opened road branch according to the traffic flow plan of the Hanoi Department of Transport.

In the afternoon, because the traffic inspectors in Dong Da district had to be deployed to other intersections, the task of ensuring order, including parking and businesses occupying the road and sidewalks, was handed over to the ward and district police.
