Road connecting Thang Long Avenue with Hanoi Expressway

The Hanoi City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the road connecting Thang Long Avenue with Hanoi - Hoa Binh Expressway is being implemented with a total area of ​​land acquisition and clearance of about 105.8 hectares.

Up to now, the investor has received the handover of 7.6 hectares of land through Tien Xuan commune (Thach That district) and is implementing the construction of bored piles (45/68 piles), casting concrete components (13/128 beams) to serve the construction of the overpass on the planned road Km 2+522.5 (belonging to package No. 31).

Requesting to speed up the project's progress, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has just directed localities to be more drastic in implementing land recovery, site clearance, and preventing re-encroachment of clean sites, while at the same time, not allowing "hot spots" of social order to arise in project areas.

Hanoi leaders also requested that resettlement work must ensure that people have "accommodation, income and living conditions equal to or better than their old place of residence"; apply the law in a harmonious, appropriate and correct manner, and not let some small problems or obstacles slow down the progress of the city's key projects and works.

Previously, in October 2023, Hanoi City started construction of the 6.7km, 6-lane road connecting Thang Long Avenue with Hanoi - Hoa Binh Expressway, with a total investment of more than 5,200 billion VND.

The route starts at the asterisk intersection connecting Thang Long Avenue with National Highway 21 (Thach Hoa Commune, Thach That District); the end point connects with Hanoi - Hoa Binh Expressway at the intersection with Van Hoa Village Road (Yen Binh Commune, Thach That District).

There are 4 bridges over rivers and level crossings, and 5 tunnels on the route. The project investment capital is supported by the city and central budgets. The Hanoi City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board is the project investor.
