When the high-speed railway line is put into operation, the travel time from Hanoi (Ngoc Hoi Station) to the old Ha Nam (Phu Ly Station) will take less than 8 minutes. This distance will completely redefine the concept of “satellite cities”, attracting a large number of high-income residents, experts and intellectuals looking for a better quality of living space while still ensuring work connections.
Dr. Architect Dao Ngoc Nghiem, Vice President of the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association, said that the TOD model around major public transport stations will be an inevitable trend, creating new growth poles and increasing the value of real estate within the connecting radius in a sustainable manner.
