Domestic coffee prices continue to rise
At 5:00 a.m. today (November 2, 2025), coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces recorded a sharp increase compared to previous days. Specifically, coffee prices in Dak Lak are currently at 118,000 VND/kg, while in Lam Dong it is 116,800 VND/kg, Gia Lai is 117,700 VND/kg, and Dak Nong is 118,200 VND/kg. This is a relatively high price in recent times, reflecting the stability of domestic coffee prices after major fluctuations in previous months.
Central Highlands coffee remains the dominant player in Vietnam’s coffee industry, and the price increase could help farmers in the region maintain profits and recover production after previous difficult periods. This growth also reflects the high demand for coffee both domestically and internationally, especially in the context of favorable weather conditions for this year’s crop.
"Fragrant" Dak Lak coffee Jeonju: Vietnamese Robusta touches the heart of Korea
Amid the wave of rising global coffee prices, Dak Lak Robusta beans have quietly made another mark on the world map. On October 30, six business "ambassadors" from the basalt plateau "landed" at the Korea International Fermented Food Exhibition (IFFE 2025) in Jeonju, Jeonbuk Province - a gathering place for more than 100 importers and 130,000 discerning guests.
Standing out among the myriad of stalls, MISS EDE is like a "Central Highlands wind" blowing through the land of kimchi. The specialty Robusta coffee from Dak Lak, combined with chocolate with rich forest aroma, is invited to taste directly - turning espresso cups into a cultural bridge. Korean customers have endless compliments: deep bitterness, long-lasting sweetness, completely different from the lightness of familiar Arabica.
Just a few months ago, in May 2025, MISS EDE "explored" the market with a batch of 3,600 roasted and ground finished packages. With the "support" of the Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade, the product not only sells products but also tells stories: From organic coffee beans under the forest canopy to hot cups of coffee on the tables of Seoul residents.
“South Korea is ‘addicted’ to Vietnamese Robusta because of its consistent quality, rich mountain flavor and more affordable price than its competitors,” a representative of MISS EDE revealed at IFFE. “This is not just an export, but a journey to bring Vietnamese soul to Korean taste.”
Not stopping at the exhibition booth, the event also sparked a great source of cooperation: Jeonbuk – Dak Lak joined hands in agricultural processing, promising OCOP projects to "fly" even further. From the red plateau to the dining table of the kimchi land, Dak Lak coffee is writing a new epic chapter – where small seeds carry an entire land.
Fluctuations in international coffee prices
In contrast to the growth in the domestic market, coffee prices in the international market recorded mixed changes. On the London exchange, at 10:00 a.m. on November 2, Robusta coffee prices decreased slightly compared to the previous trading session. Robusta coffee prices for November 2025 delivery fluctuated at 4,622 USD/ton, while coffee prices for January 2026 delivery decreased to 4,608 USD/ton. Subsequent delivery periods showed a gradual downward adjustment, with the lowest price recorded in July 2026 at 4,401 USD/ton.
In addition, the Arabica coffee market on the New York floor showed signs of strong recovery. On the morning of November 2, Arabica coffee prices increased significantly compared to the previous trading session, ranging from 333.60 to 394.00 cents/lb. Specifically, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 reached 394.00 cents/lb, significantly higher than the 374.45 cents/lb of the delivery period in March 2026. The highest price recorded in the delivery period in December 2025 shows the strong recovery of Arabica coffee, especially in the context of weather problems in Brazil affecting the global coffee supply.
In addition, Brazilian Arabica coffee on the international exchange also fluctuated strongly. The price of coffee for delivery in December 2025 reached 475.25 USD/ton, while the delivery periods in March 2026 and May 2026 recorded prices of 457.80 and 450.90 USD/ton, respectively. However, in September 2026, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee tended to decrease to 396.00 USD/ton.
Vietnam Robusta "awakens" at the end of 2025: High price, top quality, wine brand
Like a highland symphony that has just changed its rhythm, domestic coffee prices suddenly "skyrocketed" in early November 2025 - a bustling opening for the 2025-2026 crop year. The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) called this a "golden signal": farmers "hold" their goods and wait for the right time, while export orders poured in like a waterfall.
“We are not just selling beans, we are selling the story of the Central Highlands,” VICOFA emphasized. Through promotional programs such as IFFE 2025, Dak Lak coffee has transformed into a “flavor ambassador” – appearing in Seoul espresso, Milan latte, and even New York thermos.
Domestic prices may hover around 3,200–3,500 USD/ton until the end of the first quarter of 2026, paving the way for farmers to reinvest in new varieties and deep processing. The OCOP brand is no longer a “local star” – but is “flying” on global waves.
By the end of 2025, Vietnamese Robusta will not only “survive” – but will also dominate with its quality, value, and inimitable story. Small highland beans are now powerful enough to shake the world.
