Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of May 9, 2025.

As of the morning of May 9th, the domestic coffee market continued its slight decline. According to analysts, this downward trend is believed to stem from technical profit-taking after several consecutive days of gains.

In addition, the decline in coffee prices is due to more positive forecasts for coffee production in Brazil and Vietnam than initially estimated. Furthermore, the depreciation of the Brazilian Real against the US dollar is pushing down the price of this agricultural product.

Traders predict that, barring any unexpected weather events, the coffee market may undergo further corrections over the next few sessions before establishing a new price level.

Currently, coffee inventory trends are contrasting. Arabica coffee inventories monitored by ICE rose to their highest level in nearly three months on May 7th, reaching 844,473 bags. Meanwhile, Robusta coffee inventories, also monitored by ICE, fell to their lowest level in four months, totaling only 4,225 shipments last week.

The Brazilian Crop Supply Agency (Conab) has raised its forecast for Brazilian coffee production in 2025 to 55.7 million bags, up from the 51.81 million bags estimated in January 2025. Conab stated that this adjustment is primarily due to favorable weather conditions during the plant growth phase, resulting in strong flowering in both Robusta and Arabica growing regions.

An updated forecast from Conab shows that Arabica coffee production in 2025 has been revised upwards by 6.63% compared to the earlier forecast, totaling 37 million bags, although still down 5.4% compared to the previous crop year.
