As of July 1, the family of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy in Tien Kieu village, Ha Dong commune ( Hai Phong city ) has received nearly 700 million VND from individuals and charitable organizations. After the family members had surgery, Mr. Huy and his wife and their second son have been discharged from the hospital to receive treatment at home, while Mr. Huy's youngest son is still being treated at the hospital.

On June 27, Hai Duong electronic newspaper (now Hai Phong Plus electronic newspaper) published an article "An unexpected accident pushes a family in Thanh Ha into dire circumstances" calling for the community's help to support Huy's family to overcome difficulties.

At 9:15 p.m. on June 18, Mr. Huy was driving a car on Provincial Road 390. The car was carrying his wife and three children born in 2012, 2015, and 2019. While passing through Ha Dong commune, the car collided with a tractor trailer 15C-163.23 parked in the same direction ahead.

The collision injured Mr. Huy's entire family and they were taken to the emergency room, but his eldest daughter did not survive.
