Khac Viet and Chim Se Di Nang's family participate in "Mom is not home, Dad is a superhero"

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - This year's reality TV show "Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero" features the return of three families who previously caused a sensation in earlier seasons.

On the afternoon of March 25th, a press conference was held in Hanoi to launch the "Mom Away from Home, Dad Is a Superhero 2025" program.

"Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero" is a family reality TV show adapted from the popular Korean show "The Return of Superman," which has been around for many years.

The event featured famous families who are also the main characters of "Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero 2025" : the Long Hat Nhai - Salim family with Pam Hai Duong, the Khac Viet - Thao Bebe family with twins Dua and Du Du, the Chuyen Nha Dau family with Ba Duy - mother Nam Thuong and their two children Bun and Dau, and the Chim Se Di Nang family with Nguyen Duc Binh - Phung My Hang and their child Sunii.

This year's episode of "Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero " features the return of three families who previously caused a sensation in earlier seasons: the family of singer-songwriter Khắc Việt, the family of actor Lê Dương Bảo Lâm, and the family of Long Hạt Nhài, promising many surprises and exciting moments.

Besides the families, the 2025 episode of "Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero" features guest appearances from: MC Trang Mù Tạt, "million-view comedian" Võ Tấn Phát, Minhee, a child who has been fluent in both English and Vietnamese since the age of 3, and the return of Ma Bư, the son of rapper Rhymastic (who participated in "Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero" in 2024 )...

The program kicked off with an unprecedented challenge. The fathers took on the role of teachers managing a super-special class of seven students—children from different families. With seven different personalities and ages, and all sorts of mischievous antics, these seven naughty students spun the fathers around like a top.

Notably, the "2 Days 1 Night" adventure for kids makes its debut in the 2025 episode of "Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero" .

During the 48 hours their wives are away, these famous dads don't just do the usual childcare chores; they also take their kids on trips to the mountains, the sea, or a peaceful rural area in Vietnam.

Father-son pairs will experience local life together while overcoming challenges presented by the program.

With the message "Helping your child name their emotions, confront and process their own feelings in the most positive way," " Mom Away, Dad Is a Superhero 2025" is not just an entertaining reality show, but also a bridge connecting fathers and children, creating invaluable memories together.

Singer Khắc Việt shared that, besides "Mom's Away, Dad's a Superhero ," he also participated in another reality show called " Stars Join the Army ." He said that both programs captured very authentic footage of his family.

When asked if he would still be as strict with his children as he was in the 2022 season, he said: "The child of yesterday is very different from the father of today, and the father of yesterday is also different from the father of today. In season 1, I didn't have much experience as a father."

Every family has different mindsets and cultures regarding child-rearing. What's shown on screen is exactly what my family is like in real life. My father is still strict, but he's learned to listen, understand, and be calmer in raising us."

Speaking on behalf of the production company, Mr. Le Anh Ngoc, Deputy Director of Viettel Communications Company, said that this year's program is very different, with situations that surprised even the crew.

"Raising children is a long and ever-changing process. The challenges for fathers will always be new. Last year's challenge might have been difficult, but this year the fathers might find it easier, or vice versa. This is also the interesting aspect we expect in inviting back famous families who have previously participated in the program," Mr. Ngoc said.

The TV series "Mom 's Away, Dad's a Superhero 2025" airs every Sunday from March 30th: 7:30 PM on HTV7, 9:15 PM on Vietnam National Defense Channel, 8:30 PM on YouTube, and 12:00 PM on SCTV6.
